The Melbourne Holocaust centre claims large numbers of Jews were exterminated by electrocution in specially made baths. This material is given to thousands of students every year that file in for their dose of propaganda.

Politicians around the world were becoming greatly interested in why Germany was an industrial juggernaut and autobahns were spreading across the German country side while Britain and other countries remained stagnant.

Germany only had 40 odd million people and it almost defeated the rest of the world.

Zyclon B was the standard fumigant employed at that time and was systematically employed to fumigate buildings and clothes in the work camp facilities. All extensively supported by documentation. Small chambers are to be found at these camps still today that include all the ventilator and exhausting equipment but no claim is made that these were “Gas Chambers” for exterminating “Jews”. The orders, accounts, design and construction of these facilities are all in the historical record.
Pictures of the air tight doors on these facilities are in the early “Gas Chamber” literature. These have all been dealt with in court rooms at the Ernst Zundel and Irving trials.

Worrying words indeed when taken in conjunction with Iran’s push to recommence uranium enrichment. However Iran maybe an even-more difficult ‘nut to crack’ than Iraq. Iran comprises the eastern border of the Straits of Hormuz which, according to the DoE, is “…By far the world’s most important oil chokepoint” with daily oil flows of 15–15.5 million bbl. I expect any armed intervention aimed at Iran would lead to Iran trying to close the Straits of Hormuz, using mines, blockships and/or missiles (possibly the Sunburn). Loss of such oil exports from the Persian Gulf would have significant economic and social effects. I’m not sure the Western European/American navies could keep the Straits open.
