No link found between the two sets of bombers
Home Secratary, Charles Clarke says there is no judicially proven link between the bombers of 7th July and those of 21st July.
“It’s obvious that there was a group that worked on the 7th of July and another group that worked on the 21st July.
“The extent to which they had support, training, induction and even tasking from outside the groups that actually committed the attacks themselves is something which is being investigated very, very fully and comprehensively.
“I think it would be very, very surprising if they weren’t linked in some way, (but) there is not a direct linkage yet formally established to be able to make that assertion.”
He commented also on the shooting of the Brazilian, Jean Charles de Menezes, an incident which is raising more and more questions:
He also refused to be drawn on media reports that there is no CCTV footage of the shooting of innocent Brazilian Jean Charles de Menezes, 27, on July 27 at Stockwell underground station. He said the whole incident was “worrying” and he would await the results of an inquiry into the death.
Worrying is the word. The British people will fully support security services that made an innocent mistake. But the longer the questions linger the more people are inclined to fill the gaps with their own theories. None of those theories will enhance the security services’ reputation.

Do you feel a retraction coming on? Note that Blair is taking a back seat allowing Clarke (who didn’t start finger waving two hours after the first incident) to calmly collect the facts as they drip out from the security services.

What our security all around the world needs is open transparrent judicial examination of all these “terror” events.
The recently released transcripts of 911 communications has revealed that the authorities knew all three buildings were going to fall.
What! I believe there are a few unanswered questions there also.
Is there anyone with the integrity and concentration to seek these answers?
I suggest the following approach I have taken towards my Member of Parliament, Sharman Stone.

Looks like Ian Blair was right when he said the execution of Menezes was directly related to investigations on the bombings.
The connection is of course that they are both full of crap.

Today’s ITN News report on the Stockwell shooting literally blows the police version out of the water. I still think there’s more dirt to be revealed. The police killed when they could have arrested. Why? Distraction for the 7 July bombings, the official version of which was starting to come unravelled. And intimidation: Kill one terrify 10,000. Hard to betray a country whose security services would do this. More like your country has betrayed you.
