From The Daily Mail:
Leaked guidelines from the Bedfordshire force say that when officers raid Muslim homes they should remove their shoes, not use dogs and not mount pre-dawn raids because at that hour people might by ’spiritually busy’.
Are these people kidding us?

It’s surreal. Are such sensitivities extended to Christians, Jews, Hindus etc..or are Muslims “special”. More dhimmitude tripe from a gutless establishment.

Also - in the process of arrest they are not allowed to look at a muslim woman if she is not veiled at the time of arrest. The Suns attack dog Richard Littlejohn took up this pc lunacy in yesterdays edition - further championed on their front page today which i think is a fair summary: “Lawless Britain - and where are the MPs..on holiday of course” with an 18 point to do list that includes the insanity above. Its a pretty decent read.

I think these guidelines are issued with more routine visits in mind - the intention is to avoid unintentional offence. I expect (and hope) that the idea of barefoot police raiding a terrorist safe house carrying machine-guns is a fantasy of the press.

And yes, muslims are special. Just look at the Newsweek furore. None of the other religious groups DV mentioned would have rioted or killed over such alleged actions. At most they would have staged a protest and written an angry retter to Hans Brix.

Knowing British police they’ll raid the wrong address, confusing “Elm Street” with “Elm Road”. Another nightmare. As an example of efficiency, consider the Stockwell Shooting: A cross between a Mafia hit squad and the Keystone Cops. Shooting a Brazilian may well have been accidental, but I believe they were looking for someone to make an example of. Intimidation is the word I’m groping for. Kill one terrify 10,000. The rules of engagement have changed. “Police rule, OK”. With football hooligans about to engage in mayhem every Saturday, where’s the Stockwell hit squad when we really need them?
